We currently have an exciting opportunity based at Silverstone Circuit for an experienced TECHNICIAN reporting to the Team Lead – Battery Systems.

Job Description: 

Delta Cosworth is an electrification specialist delivering electric and hybrid solutions. Our main business streams are Battery Systems, Power Generation and Vehicle Systems Integration.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced TECHNICIAN reporting to the Team Lead – Battery Systems.

    The Role: 

    • Cell incoming inspection.
    • Module cooling system assembly.
    • Module assembly whilst adhering to Company safety rules
    • Mechanical sub-assembly
    • Electrical sub-assembly
    • PCB and electrical harnesses installation
    • Daily workshop housekeeping (using 5S)
    • Reporting of any design, build or quality issues to Team Lead
    • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
    • Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.

    Candidate Profile: 

    • Ability to follow technical drawings, work instructions and SSOW.
    • Focus and drive to see a task through to completion
    • Accurate recording of work progress
    • Experience of battery module assembly.
    • Experienced with the assembly of complex electrical and mechanical components and systems
    • Experienced working with electrical components, PCBs, and wiring looms.
    • Basic PC literacy (Word / Excel)
