**Job Description:**

As a CNC Grinder, you will produce high-precision crankshafts, camshafts and other critical engine components, working to exacting standards and micron-level tolerances. You will be responsible for setting and operating a range of CNC and manual grinding machines, ensuring every component meets our uncompromising quality standards.

Working within a highly skilled manufacturing team, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.

**The Role:**

- Set and operate CNC and manual: cylindrical and surface grinders.

- Perform quality control checks using gauges, perthometer and Adcole equipment.

- Manufacture components efficiently and cost-effectively, adhering to company standards and procedures.

- Maintain high level of communication with the Team and report operational issues promptly.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to methods, processes, and tooling.

- Consider the health, safety, environmental and energy impacts of all activities.

- Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by adhering to company policies and best practice.

**Candidate Profile:**

- Experience as a CNC Grinder, preferably within the automotive or aerospace sectors.

- Junker and Kellenberger experience preferable but not essential

- Proven ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical drawings and information.

- Knowledge in work holding methods, wheel mounting and dressing is preferable.

- Ability to problem solve effectively and demonstrate a forward-thinking mindset.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement..

The successful candidate will be required to work alternating early and late shifts.

**Week 1**

Monday - Thursday: 06:00 to 14:00

Friday - 06:00 to 13:00

**Week 2**

Monday - Thursday: 14:00 to 22:00

Friday - 13:00 to 20:00
